View Full Version : Nice codes, but good forum?

I've just stumbled upon this forum today and immediately, a few things stood out.

This forum has a great deal of modifications and hacks, which is something that everyone is looking for these days.

More than a few things bothered me, though. Most of the threads posted are dead, meaning no one has replied to them in months. If anyone would to reply to these threads, it would be considered bumping a thread. There is a lack of active threads, which causes people to make pointless posts in order to meet their 10 post quota.

I've also noticed that you must be here for 7 days and have 10 posts to view attachments. Okay, the 10 posts is understandable, but having to be here for 7 days is both an outrage and an inconvenience to anyone in search for decent codes. This forum provides great codes, but why force people to be registered for seven days to use them? It's quite pointless in my opinion.

This is just my two cents.

Thanks!

Have to agree with the above post
and reading through the feedback forum, it seems more feel this way.

I want to be part of the community here, and participate.

But there is hardly anything to participate in.
I need 10 posts before I can use something .. then wait 1 week as well.

But I dont see any threads I can participate in without spamming.
I dont want to spam just to make 10, but I think with this rule you are killing your own forum.

Then I see a lot of forum spam with advertising for watches, viagra and whats more.
Nobody is keeping them out, or cleaning those threads up.
Really gives the impression that staff had left this board as well.

Good luck with your board .. I can see a lot of effort has been put into it.
But with the 10 posts rule, no active threads to participate in, and the board getting filled with forumspam .. all your hard work is not bringing you anything.

These 3 things can be easily fixed ..
think about it.
